Juice cleanses or fasts are thought of as a popular way to detox and reboot the digestive system. So that can take a bit of extra effort and discipline and motivation and determination to get though all three of those things, otherwise though, I’d say by in large, it’s mostly pros. So that may be considered a con as well, considering that you may need to skip social gatherings or be around people who are consuming and imbibing things that you’re not including in your juice fast. And finally, your ability to engage socially is going to be affected. That may or may not be a problem for you. Of course, that depends on the kind of food you’re eating versus the amount of money you’re spending on vegetable juicing. Some people might think, it’s even more pricy to consume vegetable juices over food. It also requires a certain amount of organization because you need to know that you’re going to have your juices, when you’re going to need them and you’re going to…depending on whether you’re making them yourself or getting them from the outside, you’re going to have to take a little time and put a little thought behind putting that together. And for most people, it’s hard to muster up enough discipline, to skip a meal, to replace a meal with a vegetable juice or two or three. The cons are that it requires a certain amount of discipline. The pros are much improved skin, weight loss, reduction of symptoms you may be having, tons of energy, vivid dreams, energy to spare and energy to pour into your creative projects, a feeling of overwhelming well-being. Well, the pros are a very, very long list, so let’s start with those.
